6.6 Special Attachments

Special attachments are designed for specific applications and are used infrequently. In Applications Section 2.5, we discussed who should make special attachment—the chain manufacturer or the user. Please refer to the section for details.

For large pitch conveyor chain, the tolerance of the height of a ground A or K attachment from the guide rail to the upper side of the "Precision Ground" attachment is ± 0.4 mm. This value is larger than the tolerance for RS conveyor chains.
