5.2 Engineered Plastic Chain in High and Low Temperatures

Standard engineered plastic chain can be run at temperatures between −20°C and 80°C. At higher temperatures, it may become soft and not keep its shape; at lower temperatures it may become brittle.

KV-specification super engineered plastic chain may be used for continuous driving up to 250°C. Consult the manufacturer regarding KV specification, because the available chain types and sizes are limited.
